How we build it.
01 / Prepare & Level
Stable ground before anything else.
We assess the site, establish the rink footprint, and level the base using heavy-duty steel brackets or suspended timber sub-frames — handling slopes up to 24 inches. A flat, stable base is non-negotiable before any component is installed.
02 / Assemble Boards
Dasher boards locked and secured.
Interlocking timber or steel dasher board systems are assembled to the specified dimensions, with custom support brackets locked into the leveled base. Board height, gate placement, and corner radius are matched to the use case.
03 / Lay Liner & Pipe
Liner placed, glycol lines routed.
A virgin multi-layer polyethylene liner is placed and sealed along the board edges. Oxygen-barrier glycol grid lines are routed across the floor, connected to the chiller system, and pressure tested before any water is introduced.
04 / Glaze & Freeze
First ice — 3 inches, arena grade.
The chiller is commissioned, glycol is charged, and water is flooded in layers until 3 inches of solid, uniform ice is established. The surface is groomed and ready for the first skate.

When temperatures drop next winter, our crew returns to completely re-assemble your boards, piping grid, and refrigeration chiller.
In spring, we drain the glycol, professionally dismantle and clean your boards and floor mats, and package them to prevent degradation.
Store your complete rink system in our climate-controlled facility to protect all components from summer humidity and UV damage.
